The Trail Leads thru Rocky Hillsides, Deep Forest, and 3 Swamps! See a Great Diversity of Plant Life and Animals Here! The Saddle Trail!
We Keep 5 Boats at Saddle, Ready for You to Use! This Lake has Smallmouth Bass, and Walleye, and Very Large Pike (44"+). If You Want to Catch and Eat Walleyes, this is the Place to Get Them! It is a "Conservation" Designated Lake, meaning You May Take Only Conservation Limits from Here. Also there is a "Slot" Limit on the Walleye. Your Legal Walleye Must Be Under 17.5" Long, or You May Have 1 that is Over 28". To Reach Side Saddle (Directly East of Saddle Lake in the Picture), Boat to the North End of Crow Duck, and Enter the Foot Trail to the West of Big Island. This Trail is also about 1 Mile Long....It is a Much Flatter, Easier Walk than the Trail to Saddle. We Recommend this Hike to Anyone Who is Concerned about Hiking Hills, Etc!
We Have 2 Boats on Side Saddle, & They are Also Ready for You to Use at Any Time! Side Saddle is Also a Conservation Limit Lake, and Has Great Walleye & Northern Pike Fishing as Well. Same Slot Limits Apply Here!
